NFLBALLS

Bijan Robinson walked into the NFL in 2023 as the first running back taken in the top ten since Saquon Barkley, and plenty of people wondered whether a back deserved that kind of draft capital. Three seasons later, nobody is asking. He is a first-team All-Pro, he led the league in scrimmage yards last year, and in August 2026 he signed a deal that made him the highest-paid running back in football – for about two days, anyway. So if you’re here searching bijan robinson stats, bijan robinson age, bijan robinson contract, bijan robinson injury updates, the latest bijan robinson news, or whether it’s jahmyr gibbs or bijan robinson for your fantasy team, this covers it – not just the numbers, but how he got here and what Sunday night’s game against Baltimore could look like.

Early Life & Background

Robinson was born on 30 January 2002 in Tucson, Arizona, which settles where is bijan robinson from. He turns 25 on 30 January 2027, so if you’re asking how old is bijan robinson right now, the bijan robinson age is 24. His first name trips people up – it isn’t “bee-jon” like the mustard pun suggests, and he has corrected broadcasters on the proper “buh-zhon.”

He grew up in Tucson with his mother, LaMore Sauls, leaning on his grandparents. His grandfather Cleo Robinson was an all-state linebacker in Arizona and an early football mentor, and his great-uncle Paul Robinson was drafted by the Bengals in 1968, so the sport was in the bloodline long before anyone talked about bijan robinson parents on draft night. LaMont Sauls is generally listed as his stepfather. People searching bijan robinson brother come away with little verified detail, and no bijan robinson brother appears in any confirmed profile, because Robinson keeps his siblings away from the cameras.

At Salpointe Catholic, Robinson became a statewide headline. Anyone looking up bijan robinson high school numbers will see why: he left as Arizona’s all-time leader with 7,036 rushing yards and 114 touchdowns, and became the first running back in state history to run for 2,000 yards three seasons in a row. The bijan robinson high school record book is still his, and he was named Arizona’s Gatorade Player of the Year. He was a five-star recruit, and the bijan robinson 247 profile had him inside the top 15 nationally and as the top running back in the class. That bijan robinson 247 ranking looks conservative now.

Bijan Robinson Family Background

The table below covers bijan robinson parents and extended family as far as verified reporting goes.

Relation	Name	Details
Mother	LaMore Sauls	Raised Robinson in Tucson with help from her parents
Stepfather	LaMont Sauls	Listed as his stepfather
Grandfather	Cleo Robinson	Former all-state linebacker; early football influence
Great-Uncle	Paul Robinson	Drafted by the Bengals in 1968
Bijan Robinson wife	None publicly confirmed	No verified reports of a marriage
Bijan Robinson girlfriend	Not confirmed	Kept private

On the personal side, bijan robinson wife and bijan robinson girlfriend are two of the most searched phrases around him, but there is nothing verified to report. Robinson keeps his relationships out of interviews, and there is no confirmed marriage. A few low-quality sites name a girlfriend, yet none of it came from Robinson himself, so it’s best treated as rumor.

Bijan Robinson College: Where Did Bijan Robinson Go to College?

If you want the short version of where did bijan robinson go to college, it’s the University of Texas at Austin. What college did bijan robinson go to before the pros? Texas, where he played from 2020 to 2022 after picking the Longhorns over a pull from Arizona. Bijan robinson texas fans still treat him like a favorite son, and the recruiting hype turned out to be right.

He barely needed a warm-up. As a freshman in 2020 he averaged more than eight yards a carry and won Alamo Bowl MVP. In 2021 he ran for 1,127 yards and made the All-Big 12 first team, though a dislocated elbow against Kansas ended that season two games early. Then 2022 happened.

Bijan Robinson College Stats

Season	Games	Carries	Rushing Yards	Average	Rushing TD	Receptions	Receiving Yards	Receiving TD
2021	–	–	1,127	–	–	–	–	–
2022	12	258	1,580	6.1	18	19	314	2
Career	31	539	3,410	6.3	33	60	805	8

Those bijan robinson college stats from 2022 are what scouts kept coming back to. He led the country with 1,894 yards from scrimmage, won the Doak Walker Award, became a unanimous All-American, and finished fourth in Texas history in rushing yards. Add it up and bijan robinson college stats show a back who could run between the tackles, make people miss in space, and catch the ball.

Bijan Robinson Draft Pick & Combine Numbers

The bijan robinson draft pick story is a short one, and what college did bijan robinson go to before it? Texas, whose bijan robinson texas tape made him an easy call. The Falcons took him eighth overall in 2023, the first running back picked in the top ten since Barkley went second in 2018. His bijan robinson 40 yard dash time at the combine was 4.46 seconds, with a 1.52 ten-yard split, a 37-inch vertical and a 10-foot-4 broad jump.

On bijan robinson height and weight, he’s listed at 5 feet 11 inches and roughly 215 pounds. That bijan robinson height has never been the story – how low he runs for a man that size is. He signed his four-year rookie contract on 12 May 2023, worth $21.96 million, all of it fully guaranteed.

How His Career Actually Unfolded

Phase	Years	Notes
Texas Longhorns	2020 to 2022	Doak Walker winner, unanimous All-American
Rookie Year	2023	976 rushing yards; named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team
Breakout	2024	1,456 rushing yards, 14 touchdowns, first Pro Bowl
Superstar Season	2025	Led the NFL in scrimmage yards; first-team All-Pro
Contract Year	2026	Hold-in, then a record extension through 2030

His rookie year was good rather than great. The jump came in 2024, when he carried the ball 304 times for 1,456 yards and 14 touchdowns. Then 2025 made him an awards candidate: NFC Offensive Player of the Month for September, and an All-Pro by season’s end.

Bijan Robinson Stats: NFL Career

Season	Games	Rushing Yards	Rushing TD	Receptions	Receiving Yards	Receiving TD
2023	17	976	4	58	487	4
2024	17	1,456	14	61	431	1
2025	17	1,478	7	79	820	4
2026 (4 games)	4	494	4	14	120	1
Career	55	4,404	29	212	1,858	10

Through four weeks, Robinson has played every regular-season game of his career, which is not something every running back can say. His 2025 total of 1,478 rushing yards and 820 receiving yards made him the only player in NFL history with at least 1,400 on the ground and 810 through the air in one season, and his 2,298 yards from scrimmage led the league. He also scored 11 touchdowns.

His bijan robinson receiving stats deserve their own mention, though this season’s numbers are lower so far because the run game has dominated. A back who catches 79 passes for 820 yards is functioning as a second wide receiver, and in 2026 he already has 14 catches on 16 targets for 120 yards and a touchdown. That’s a big reason his bijan robinson fantasy value stays so high even in games where the run game stalls.

Bijan Robinson 2026: Game Log & Latest Stats

The bijan robinson 2026 season started rough and then caught fire. The Falcons dropped their first two games, 20-13 at Pittsburgh and 34-3 at home to Carolina, with Cooper Rush starting at quarterback while Michael Penix Jr. recovered from the knee injury that cost him much of last season. Once Penix returned, everything changed.

Week	Opponent	Result	Carries	Rushing Yards	Rushing TD	Receptions	Receiving Yards	Receiving TD
1	at Steelers	L 20-13	21	83	0	8	90	1
2	Panthers	L 34-3	16	72	0	3	9	0
3	at Packers	W 35-14	29	194	2	2	19	0
4	at Saints	W 45-24	19	145	2	1	2	0

That bijan robinson game log adds up to 85 carries for 494 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns, an average of 5.8 yards per carry and 123.5 bijan robinson rushing yards per game. Only Kenneth Walker III, with 537, has more rushing yards in the NFL. Robinson is second in the league in yardage, third in yards per carry and fourth in carries. Pro Football Focus has him graded at 88.7 overall, third among 47 qualified backs, with 17 forced missed tackles and 4.7 yards after contact per attempt.

If you’re checking bijan robinson stats today or bijan robinson rushing yards today, the freshest numbers come from Monday night’s 145-yard, two-touchdown game in New Orleans. The Falcons beat the Saints 45-24, and Robinson broke a 59-yard run. He now has three career touchdown runs of 50-plus yards, all of them on Monday Night Football.

Bijan Robinson Contract, Salary & Net Worth

Few contract stories this summer were as dramatic. Robinson spent part of training camp in a hold-in, attending practices without fully participating while the sides finished the bijan robinson contract talks. On 4 August 2026, the Falcons and Robinson agreed to a three-year extension through the 2030 season. “This is one of my dreams, to stay with one team,” he said after signing.

The base value of the bijan robinson contract is $66.75 million, with incentives that can push it to $75 million. That works out to $22.25 million a year, ahead of Barkley’s $20.6 million average at the time. About $51 million is guaranteed, including $37 million at signing, the most guaranteed money ever given to a running back on a non-rookie deal. When people ask about bijan robinson salary, that’s the number to remember, and it follows a rookie deal worth $21.96 million over four years.

The top spot in the running back market lasted two days. Jahmyr Gibbs signed with Detroit on 6 August for roughly $67.5 million over three years, up to $75.75 million with incentives, and $51.5 million guaranteed – an average of $22.5 million. Jonathan Taylor (two years, $44 million) and Arizona rookie Jeremiyah Love (about $53 million, fully guaranteed) reset the market the same week.

As for bijan robinson net worth, there’s no verified figure, so any bijan robinson net worth number online is an estimate built from contract money and endorsements. On bijan robinson trade rumors, there’s nothing to them: with a deal through 2030, Atlanta has built its offense around him.

Is Bijan Robinson Hurt? Injury Status

Fans typing is bijan robinson hurt into a search bar can relax for now. Robinson has played all 55 regular-season games of his career and has no injury designation going into Week 5. The bijan robinson injury history is short, and the latest bijan robinson news on his health is clean: a dislocated elbow at Texas in 2021 is the only notable setback. His workload is heavy – 85 carries in four games – but the Falcons have shown no concern.

The line is the bigger worry. Left tackle Jake Matthews left the Saints game with a groin injury and is questionable, as are linebackers Divine Deablo and Samson Ebukam. If Matthews can’t go, the run game loses a key blocker. That is the main bijan robinson injury storyline before kickoff, and the official bijan robinson injury report will land Friday afternoon.

Is Bijan Robinson Playing Today? Falcons vs Ravens in Week 5

The question of is bijan robinson playing today has a simple answer if you’re reading on Friday: not yet. The bijan robinson falcons matchup this week is Sunday Night Football on 11 October 2026 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (the bijan robinson falcons offense is the story). Kickoff is 8:20 p.m. Eastern on NBC and Peacock. Bijan robinson stats today will update after that game.

Atlanta (2-2) hosts Baltimore (3-1), and the market has the Falcons as three-point home favorites with a total of 43.5. Michael Penix Jr. has completed roughly 73 percent of his passes since returning, and the Falcons have scored 80 points in two games. Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr. have combined for 451 rushing yards and eight touchdowns over that stretch. On the other side, Lamar Jackson is questionable with an ankle injury, Zay Flowers is questionable with a foot issue, and pass rusher Trey Hendrickson and cornerback Marlon Humphrey are also questionable.

Baltimore’s defense has a specific weakness: it ranks 28th in rushing touchdowns allowed to running backs, while Robinson sits tenth among backs with eight carries inside the ten-yard line. Derrick Henry, who leads the NFL with seven rushing touchdowns, will be on the other side, and he has publicly praised Robinson as the best back in the game right now. If you want bijan robinson rushing yards today, there are none yet – the last game was Monday’s 145 yards.

Jahmyr Gibbs or Bijan Robinson: Who Is the Better Back?

The jahmyr gibbs or bijan robinson debate is the defining running back argument of this era, mostly because they entered the league together in 2023 – Gibbs at No. 12 to Detroit, Robinson at No. 8 to Atlanta. Both are 24 (a bijan robinson age that points to years of prime production), both now earn about $22 million a year, and both are among the most dangerous receiving backs in football.

Category	Bijan Robinson	Jahmyr Gibbs
Team	Atlanta Falcons	Detroit Lions
Height / Weight	5-11, 215 lbs	5-9, 202 lbs
2025 Rushing Yards	1,478	1,223
2025 Receiving Yards	820	616
2025 Scrimmage Yards	2,298	1,839
2026 Rushing (4 games)	85 carries, 494 yards, 4 TD	80 carries, 353 yards, 5 TD
Career Rushing Yards (entering 2026)	3,910	3,580
Contract	$22.25M a year through 2030	$22.5M a year through 2030
Honors	2025 first-team All-Pro	Three Pro Bowls

The honest read is that Robinson owns the bigger body of work and the better 2025, while Gibbs is the more explosive touchdown scorer – he holds the NFL record for scrimmage touchdowns through three seasons with 49. Gibbs has also started 2026 with five rushing scores, though his Week 4 game in Carolina was quiet at 15 carries for 46 yards. Gibbs wins on efficiency and touchdowns; Robinson wins on volume, yardage and durability, and his bijan robinson receiving stats were stronger in 2025. On bijan robinson salary alone, Gibbs edges him by $250,000 a year. Most rankings have them at the top of the position, with Gibbs first and Robinson second this week.

Bijan Robinson Fantasy: Points, Projections & Names

For managers, bijan robinson fantasy production has been elite. Using standard PPR scoring, he has roughly 105 bijan robinson fantasy points through four games, about 26 bijan robinson fantasy points per week, with a floor of 11 in the Panthers loss and a ceiling of 35 against Green Bay. His 8-catch, 90-yard, one-touchdown opener showed how he scores even when the ground game is bottled up.

Here are my bijan robinson projections. For Week 5, expect around 100 rushing yards, four catches for 30-plus yards and a better-than-even chance at a touchdown given the matchup. Over the full 17-game season, his current pace (check the bijan robinson game log each week) points toward 1,700 rushing yards, 2,300 yards from scrimmage and 14 or more total touchdowns. These bijan robinson projections assume the offensive line stays healthy and Penix keeps defenses honest.

If you drafted him, you’ll want bijan robinson fantasy names to match. Good bijan robinson fantasy names lean on the bijan robinson mustard joke: “Dijon Vu,” “Mustard on the Goal Line,” “Bijan Mustardson Backs,” “Grey Poupon Gang” and “Gibbs Me Bijan” for managers who own both. Short bijan robinson fantasy names fit better on league pages, and the best bijan robinson fantasy names almost always get a laugh.

Bijan Robinson Prediction: Falcons vs Ravens & Rest of 2026

My bijan robinson prediction for Sunday night is a Falcons win, 24-20. His 123.5 bijan robinson rushing yards per game pace will cool off, but the Falcons offense has the better form, the Ravens might be without Jackson, Flowers or both, and Atlanta’s defense has allowed just 67 rushing yards across its last two games. Robinson should clear 100 yards and score at least once. Any bijan robinson trade chatter is noise. The risk is the market: Atlanta has struggled as a home favorite, and Baltimore has a strong record as a road underdog. If Jackson plays, expect a closer game; if Tyler Huntley starts, Robinson could see 25 touches, and bijan robinson projections for yards and touchdowns would rise.

For the rest of the year, I expect him to stay in the top three of the rushing race with Walker and Gibbs, finish above 1,600 rushing yards, and be a legitimate Offensive Player of the Year candidate if the Falcons make the playoffs. The most likely thing to knock him off that pace is an injury to the offensive line, not a decline in his own play.

Best Running Backs in the NFL Right Now

Rank	Player	Team	Why He’s on the List
1	Kenneth Walker III	Chiefs	Leads the NFL with 537 rushing yards; reigning Super Bowl MVP
2	Jahmyr Gibbs	Lions	Record scrimmage touchdown pace, elite as a receiver
3	Bijan Robinson	Falcons	All-Pro, 614 scrimmage yards through four games
4	Derrick Henry	Ravens	Seven rushing touchdowns, 23-plus carries in three games
5	Jonathan Taylor	Colts	90-plus yards and two touchdowns in three games
6	Saquon Barkley	Eagles	Still a workhorse; the previous top-paid back
7	Jeremiyah Love	Cardinals	No. 3 overall rookie finally in the lead role

Walker’s 537 yards through four weeks is the tenth-highest total in NFL history, and Henry keeps climbing the career rushing lists. Love took over Arizona’s backfield in Week 3. De’Von Achane is out for the year with a torn ACL, which has thinned the position.

Life Off the Field: Mustard, Outer Banks & More

Robinson is one of the few NFL stars with a legitimate brand outside football. The bijan robinson mustard line, “Bijan Mustardson,” launched in 2022 while he was still at Texas, and the pun on his name made it an instant hit. He also made a cameo as a villain in season four of Netflix’s Outer Banks, and the bijan robinson outer banks appearance was short but real – it fits his stated interest in acting after football, which grew out of a friendship with Matthew McConaughey in Austin.

Fans also search for bijan robinson hair, bijan robinson haircut and bijan robinson new hair every time he turns up with a fresh look. The bijan robinson new haircut talk rarely lasts, but a bijan robinson new haircut gets as much traffic as a good game, and he has never made the bijan robinson new haircut a big deal himself. Every bijan robinson new haircut photo from camp or game day gets shared widely. The bijan robinson hair conversation, like the bijan robinson haircut debate before it, comes and goes.

Demand for a bijan robinson jersey has risen every season. The number 7 bijan robinson jersey is among the Falcons’ best sellers, and with him signed through 2030, a bijan robinson jersey is a safe buy. Many fans also pick up a throwback bijan robinson jersey from Texas.

Rumors about a bijan robinson wife or bijan robinson girlfriend usually trace back to unverified posts, so there is nothing real to report.

Bijan Robinson Playing Style: What Makes Him Different

His game is built on balance. He’s a patient runner who waits for blocks to develop, then bursts through the hole with the leg drive of a bigger player. A 4.46 bijan robinson 40 yard dash time at that size explains a lot, and the bijan robinson height and weight (5-11, 215) hide how low he runs. The contact numbers back it up – 4.7 yards after contact per attempt, 17 forced missed tackles in four games, and a PFF rushing grade of 87.6. As a receiver he is closer to a slot player than a traditional back, which is why Kevin Stefanski, in his first year in Atlanta, has built the offense around his touches.
